The setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot, Gujarat, is not yet completed. But it is expected to get completed by October 2022. There are prevailing institutes of AIIMS in places like Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Patna, Telangana, Raipur, Rishikesh, etc. Whereas, Gujarat will have its first ever AIIMS by 2022.

Expected date to Started AIIMS RAJKOT is  October 2022.Gujarat will have it's first All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) by October 2022 . The pre-investment activities for the project have already begun for which the government has allocated funding of Rs 1195 crore on January 10, 2019.
