Hey aspirant! Currently, Computer Science and Engineering is the evergreen branch in all NITs including NIT Surat and NIT Kurukshetra, due to high demand of Computer Graduates. Placements are also excellent for Computer Science and Engineering students. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department follows CSE. CSE companies might droop in some years but EEE will always be in light.

One doesn't study based on which branch is top in the college. It's better to undertake the branch you would be interested forever because it dtermines your career.

In nit surat mechanical engineering is best branch among others. Placement here is best and faculty also.

Nit kurukshetra here almost all the branch is good for placement wise cse is best.

Since it doesn't depends upon the branches it all about the interest. Because people do best in what they are interested in.
