According to last few year trends, CSE students gets most exciting packages from these institutions, succeeded by ECE and then by EEE.

For Example, In IIT Madras

Last year, the highest package offered was 1.34 Crore per annum. The average package offered is 12 LPA (Whole Btech) . But for the CSE branch, the average package is 57 LPA.

Generally the computer science branch has the best and highest/average placement package. So if you are looking for good package then its the software company which provides handsome package. IITs use Jee Advanced rank while NITs and IIITs use Jee Mains rank for admissions.

• Electrical Engineering- 39 lakhs/ annum.
• Metallurgical and Materials Engineering- 32 lakhs/ annum.
