Based on previous year's NEET UG cut-off trends it can be said that for Chattisgarh Medical Colleges, EWS Category has low cut-off score than OBC NCL Category. But cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors.

There's no concrete rule regarding for which category cut off marks would go low.

There's 27 % reservation for obc and 10 % reservation for EWS.

Considering this one might think that cut off would always be lower for OBC when compared to EWS but this isn't true.

This because,
Cutoff further depends upon factors like:-

• Number of students that appeared in NEET entrance examination from OBC or EWS
• kind of marks obtained by obc / ews student

So, depending upon these,
Cut off for either ews or OBC can go lower when compared to one another.

For example,
In neet 2020 , obc students of chhattisgarh outperformed ews category students in neet i. e they scored way better than ews category students and so cut off marks for obc quota seats went higher while for ews it was lower.

For instance,
In neet 2020 , under Chhattisgarh State quota for Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur, obc cut off was 605 marks while for ews it was only 560 marks.
