With your Rank you can easily get admission in ECE at CBIT. You need to go for counseling for b category. The notification of b category for CBIT has released already and the last date for application is 26 th October. In between these two, Undoubtedly CBIT Hyderabad is the best, as it is ranked 124 in NIRF Ranking where as Vasavi has 187. NAAC score is also better for CBIT, than Vasavi. In term of placement, academics and overall facilities CBIT is better choice for you. If you want to go for CSE and got Vasavi, you can go for it. It's also an well established and reputed institution and as per placement especially for CSE it is having a good placement record.

CBIT and vasavi both are top colleges but if you are getting cse in vasavi then go for it without any doubt.The placements for cse will be very good when compared to ece usually.One more thing i would like to clear is that if you are getting a branch in state level colleges through jee mains, that process is b-category and for that the college will follow the guidelines issued by TSCHE. Your category will not be considered and you will not be eligible for any free seat or fee reimbursement in any state college
