With a KCET rank of around 1,70,300, your chances of getting into top government engineering colleges in Karnataka are very slim, especially for popular branches like CSE or ECE. But don’t worry you still have a shot at some less competitive branches like Civil or Mechanical in tier-3 government or aided colleges, particularly in final or extended rounds. Colleges like Government Engineering College Haveri or Hassan sometimes go up to 2 lakh rank for core branches in the last rounds. It’ll all depend on your category, branch flexibility, and round-wise seat availability.
