A. P. Shah Institute of Technology is a private engineering college located in Kasarvadavali, in Thane, India. It was established in 2014 and is managed by the Parshvanath Charitable Trust. It is a Jain Religious Minority College and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

A. P. Shah institute of Technology is best for Computer science. It is the best engineering college. Excellent infrastructure, qualified staff & labs are the best labs. It has very good infrastructure and management.

Placements: The Training and Placement cell of our college provides a lot of opportunities for placement. Aptitude and soft skill training are provided by the college through professionals and that also free of cost. College provides free foreign language courses like German, French, Japanese and Spanish. This is particularly helpful for those interested in doing post-graduation abroad. The college has done a collaboration with many companies. Good companies like Infosys, Wipro, HP, LTI, etc. Have come to college for placement. The college always motivates students to do internships. College provides various technical courses through Project-Based Learning scheme that addresses current trends of technology.

Infrastructure: All classrooms are air-conditioned and have projector and smart board. Labs are up to date. Whole campus is wi-fi enabled. College has lifts, CCTV and electricity back up. College has spacious auditorium, canteen, stationary store, common rooms with indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis, net cricket ground, basement parking and medical facility. Library has many books and online resource material is also available. College canteen is always kept clean and serves good food. College doesn't have hostel facility.

Faculty: All the faculty members are well experienced and have expertise in their respective subjects. They are very friendly and helpful. Our lectures and practicals are conducted regularly and through Project Based Learning courses we get an edge in our technical competence.

Other: College has a technical fest 'EXALT' giving students a platform to showcase their technical skills. Many cultural and sports events are organised under the cultural fest 'OJUS'. College organises many value added programs to acquaint students with globally trending technologies. We are motivated by teachers to participate in all activities of our college and are rewarded for our achievements.

Most of the faculty members are really good. They teach with passion and are dedicated to their profession. However, you may find some teachers who are not up to the engineering standards (This is a situation present even in the top colleges). Overall, the faculty is really good and helpful.

The cut-off is very low, hence there are many students who just join for the sake of a degree and not for learning. However, you will always find students who are sincere towards their field.
