MVSR is not better than sreenidhi in terms of infrastructure and faculty but its not any less. If you are aware of your responsiblity as a student , if you know for what you are coming to the college then open gate system would not hinder your academic performance.One should know how to balance studies and other things in our life. We are not kids to be forced to sit in a class, that would not help in any way . In this terms MVSR is the better choice , you are treated like an adult, you are left to decide for yourself , just because its open gate that doesnt mean you should bunk everyday.

Not every faculty that teaches you in MVSR is excellent but there are teachers who are really good too, if you are interested you can approach them and get the best guidance.

As a student you will most probably like MVSR but you should remember that you are here to study so do not get carried away by the freedom.If you balance well then you can have best engineering life along with the best result at the end !!

Hii,Sreenidhi has a good name which is pulling students towards it. But it is no more good in terms of facilities and faculty. You'll be placed for sure. But that's not the only thing to be considered . You'll be surprised seeing the types of fee they collect. You will hate the management as soon as you join the college. But CSE HOD will never fail to amuse you with her Knowledge. And when I say placements don't think of Microsoft or Oracle. You might have got what I said. Good luck.
