After completion of your 10+2 from a recognized board if you're willing to do job in railways you need to appear for the entrance exam RRB ( Railway Recruitment board)
You can get jobs like:-
1. Railway Driver
2. Railway constable
3. Ticket collector
4. Railway clerk
There are high level jobs for engineers also. After successfully completing your b. tech or b.e. you can appear for the following exams:-
1. RRB ALP
2. RRB ATC
3. SSC
4. UPSC
MBBS graduates can get appear for the exams too They can go for IRMS: Medical Service after clearing Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) conducted by UPSC. MBBS graduates will be recruited as Group A (Class I) staff.
Indian Railways sector has got many job opportunities. It has good scope, more stable, high package, etc.

To get a job in Railways, you should opt for diploma in engineering, bachelor/master engineering in any streams like Civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, EEE. Other streams student can also apply freely. But the best course would be in the above mentioned branches.
