This depends on the current demand in the present scenario . As you know ,during and  after COVID , the demand of software industries has increased , so in that case .. CSE or IT domain has currently high demand . But with that , the core Engineering branches also have similar importance for our industry as well as in Govt sector , you can get a huge scope to get job in core branches like civil, mechanical or electrical .

In case of electronics and communication branch , you have chances to get job in both IT as well as non-IT field . So it entirely depends on your personal choice as well as the current domain demand in IT and Non-IT industry .
