SMS JAIPUR is one of the oldest medical colleges in the country. It is well established and has a good reputation. I don't know much about the academic environment there.

AIIMS Jodhpur on the other hand is one of the premiere medical institutions of the country. For an institution that is just over 5 years old, the amount of progress is just staggering. The environment for the student is so much more comfortable than any other college that I have seen. You are given individual rooms, a great Central library, an e library, sports grounds and courts with smart faculty guiding you all the way. If you want a private atmosphere with a good opportunity to learn, AIIMS Jodhpur is your place to go.
