If you want to work in USA with just your B.tech degree, it is hard. However of akl the branches available CSE and IT guys have more scope of working abroad.Also there are exams like toefl, SAT, GRE which are important if you want to study abroad or work abroad, you need a good score.

However if you get a post graduate degree like mba from some good college, then your branch would not really matter much.

I would like to say B-Tech provides various kind Branches like those aspriants are like computer hardware,coding,Trouble shooting,analysis,design for those B-tech provides Computer science and Information Technology branches are available and much more Branches are available like

• Electrical
• Electrical Electronics
• Electronics Communication
• Mechanical
• Civil

and lots of branches are available

All branches are holding equal prospective for aspirants but CS,IT and ECE Branches are much more priority for getting job in USA and also in INDIA.
