Hi there,

In my opinion I would suggest you go with bsc Agriculture  rather than bsc food technology. Bsc hons Agriculture is a three year undergraduate degree in which a student gathers so many knowledge and procedures about the specialization that will help them in future job areas. Talking about the govt colleges in India for bsc hons, I have enlisted some college for you kindly check these out as well:

  • Lady shri ram college (LSR DU)
  • Hindu college
  • Jamia milia islamia
  • Gargi college
  • Aligarh Muslim university
  • St stephens college
  • IGNOU

Check out this link for more detailed information: https://university.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-bsc(hons)-universities-in-india

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you and good luck:)
