Their is not much difference between VIT Pune and PICT Pune, the only difference is in their Tuition Fees. If you check the Cutoff for CSE of both the colleges then their is not much difference in that. Their is very rare difference in the Cutoff of both the Colleges. Infact VIT Pune has many pros of being an Autonomous institution under Pune University. So you can go for both the colleges their is not much difference between these two colleges. Also if you talk about their last year Placements VIT gave the Highest Package of 55LPA whereas PICT has the maximum of 35LPA .

So don't be confused at all.

There are many opportunities ( regarding placements ) in PICT, but there is huge competition among peers. VIT has comparatively better placement opportunities, student exchange program and teachers at VIT are lenient about attendance. PICT has one of the best CS crowd in the city, so you would be surrounded by some serious coders and developers. It really matters on what are your preferences.
