IIIT for cs and it

Nit for mechanical, civil, computer, electrical.

If you are asking about IIT Vs NIT, then of course IITs are better. IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur are among the best engineering colleges in India.
