Hi, It is better to do MBA from a buisness school but it totally depends on you that how determined and focused you are about your course. If you have a good score in the CAT or XAT then there are many Institutions for which you can look forward to. For example:

  • Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA)
  • Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB)
  • Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar
  • Management Development Institute (MDI)
  • Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIMK), etc.

Hi Rahul,

It doesn’t really matter as long as the college is good. For ex. IIT Delhi is a premier engineering college. Its Department of Management Studies offers MBA program and it has a great value in terms of placement, knowledge and other aspects. There are various other such examples. So, it depends on the college you pursue the program from. All the major colleges (engineering) which offer a management program accept the scores of CAT or XAT.

Hope that’s helpful.

Hi friend,
Well it depends on your interest and the college you are getting in MBA and Engineering.
If you have an interest in MBA or Engineering then opt the one you are interested in.
If you don't have any special interest in any of then have a look on the college placement, campus, peer group... Whichever MBA or engineering has the good one go for it.
Hope this helps :)
Note: both MBA and Engineering has great scope and has high level competition. So do what your heart says.
Thank you.
