Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
There are good placement opportunities available for the students of the computer science and electronics and telecommunication departments. Students of the mechanical department need to struggle a lot to get placed.
The company named Volkswagen visit the campus every year to hire the students of the mechanical department. However, students of other branches are offered placement opportunities in IT companies.
Currently, the computer science department has good placements as the maximum students have been placed with the highest package of 8 LPA, and the average package offered to them is around 3.5 LPA.
Thank You & All the best!
I would suggest government college of engineering, Aurangabad over government college of engineering and research, Pune.
Placements in the college are good, quality-wise but not quantity wise. Some students get salary packages up to 7.50 lacs per annum. The average package is approximately 4 lacs per annum.
The infrastructure of our college is quite small, but it is clean. All facilities are available such as basketball court, badminton court, etc. Each department has its own seminar hall, and a big auditorium hall is also available.
Teaching quality is awesome, and most of the teachers interact with various companies as there are various industrial visits planned.
Hope this information helps in deciding your college.
Feel free to comment if there is any doubt.
Government College of Engineering and Research is a good college. It is a college of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
While selecting any college various parameters are considered such as the infrastructure, college life, placements, faculty, affordability, other facilities. According to the reviews of students, all the facilities are good.
