Medical lab Technology field is majorly concerned with the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of diseases by means of clinical laboratory tests where as microbiology includes microorganisms, diagnosis, disease causation, and treatment of pathogens etc.

Top recruitment area for Medical Lab Technologists are only hospitals, clinics, public health sectors, pathologies but Microbiologists are recruited in many areas which includes Healthcare Organizations, Forensic Labs, Food and drink Industry, Pharmaceutical companies etc.
