Generally top nits take admission in only the above few thousand ranks. The cutoff may vary every year but the nits generally do not take admission at such a high rank.
You can check the previous years cutoff of the various nits and the closing rank of the various programs offered there and can know about the same.
Hopefully , there will be some nits that can give you admission but in some other less known programs . so it will be upto you whether you want to pursue that course from there or not.
