Correct Answer: Punjab

Solution : The correct option is Punjab.

Punjab does not belong on India's Peninsular Plateau. The eight states of India that make up the Peninsular Plateau are Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Odisha. It lies in the southern part of India, on a large plateau. The peninsular region situated south of the Narmada River between these mountains is referred to as the plateau. The Eastern and Western Ghats encircle it. Punjab is not a part of southern India or the Peninsular Plateau.
