It depends if you are comparing Govt colleges like NIT / IIIT/ CFTI with AMITY then definitely you should go with the govt. funded institutes.
And if you are comparing from the state government colleges having not good ranking with AMITY then definitely you should go with the option AMITY. That's the difference which you need to understand.
