To bag a seat in CSE you need to have a rank of at least up to 2300. Also, it depends on the college you are applying to. The cut-off ranks for various colleges are listed below:

PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore: 2287

M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore: 3042

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore: 5396

Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore: 5500

University Visveswariah College of Engineering, Bangalore: 5642

The above are the cut-off ranks for 2019.

Also, keep in mind that that cut-off ranks vary every year owing to numerous factors. As the competition for CSE is fierce, You need to bag a rank below 2k to get into top colleges.
