To become an entrepreneur it is absolutely not necessary to take one specific branch . You can take any branch non core or core engineering. If you have a buisness mindset , you would definitely succeed in life.

So, as far as choosing of branch is concerned i would suggest you to kindly opt for the branch which you think would be good for you as per your interest.

B.Tech is Engineering course only. You can find B.Tech or B.E programs in Engineering courses. B.Tech deals with more of Advanced Technology and B.E deals with Fundamental education. B.Tech and B.E are considered as equivalent courses.

As you are interested to study MBA, nothing much to do with B.Tech you can study any B.Tech course of your choice. B.Tech and B.Tech have branches like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc branches.

But a advice is that to take Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering branches because there will be Subjects atleast electives related to MBA like Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, etc.

After completion of B.E/ B.Tech you can give entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT etc for admission into most of the MBA Colleges in India.
