At present there is only one University that offers the occult science courses and that is the Lucknow University.
The Abhinavagupt Institute of Aesthetics and Shaiva Philosophy, under Lucknow University's Sanskrit department, offer a PhD in 'Tantraagam,' the academic and philosophical derivations of the occult and Shaiva philosophy.
