hi sarthak,

Educational qualification for IES Exam is as follows:

  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent (B.E/B.Tech)

B.E/B.Tech Branches - Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering

  • An MSc degree or equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects are acceptable for certain services / posts

i would suggest, go for b.tech degree which you like- if you have interest in computers field- go for cse and similarly mechanical if your interest lies there.
