If you have secured your admission in any particular university, you will be allotted a hostel shortly after that and prior to the start of the academic session. 

Visit the official website of the NLU, where you plan to take/ already took admission and look for the guidelines mentioned. If it still doesn't clear your doubts, contact the authorities or write to the admission cell of the university.
