As you might be aware of the first round of the counselling has been out and you know the cutoffs, though your rank is not enough for traditional 4-year courses in IIT-KGP. You might get some lower branches like Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture, applied geology, even biotechnology. As per the last year cutoffs and first round this year you might even get chemistry with chances of getting applied geology too. MSc chemistry closed in 2264 SC rank in the first round and you can hope that students might float to better choices and you can get Chemistry.
