Cutoff for Mechanical Branch in Jadavpur University is pretty high and compared to your rank even with West Bengal Domicile. The admissions for general rank in Mechanical Branch end on rank around 400 in round 3 but you should try in the spot counseling because in spot round you can actually have chances to score a seat.

As per your rank, it is little difficult for you to get Mechanical Engineering till Round 4 but you can try in spot round and if there is any vacant seat left then you will surely get it. But don't depend on it totally instead you should also try for other government colleges in West Bengal. You have got brilliant marks so you will definitely get a good college.
