    DU CATE 2019 - Common Admission Test of English is an entrance exam conducted by DU for admission to its UG level programme, BA ENGLISH.

Eligiblity Criteria :

• 60% in English & 45% in 12th boards.

Syllabus :

• Covers general English like - Vocabulary, passage, meanings, idioms etc.

Pattern :

• PAPER 1 : Objective type (no negative marking)
• PAPER 2 : Descriptive/summetive types questions (only those students are eligible who had clear paper 1)

Important Dates :

• Starting date to apply starts from - 1st week of May 2019
• Last date to apply - last week of May 2019
• Exam is conducted - 1st week of June
• Results Declaration - after 1 week of entrance exam
