Its difficult to get a good branch in the first round of councelling. But you may get in the second or third round. It cant be guaranteed. Whereas you can get in vit chennai or amravathi in the first councelling.

You can get VIT Vellore campus through counselling but you won't be able to get the premium branches there because VIT Vellore is the most favoured campus for B.Tech

Another option that you can consider is Admission through management quota but this is really a costly option. So, go for it only when you can afford it and find it worth enough.
