If your are asking in terms of studies and your main aim is to become a teacher than I think it does not cost any extra burden for you. B.a is a three years course and integrated b.a bed is a four years course. Practical activities, workshop, lessons etc are the part of b.ed syllabus so you have to do that extra. If one do only b.ed such type of practical are not included in the syllabus.

So in the end it depend on how do you take it mentally. If you want to do simple b.a you can do that. And after completing the course can join b.ed

But if you want to do integrated course you can go ahead it will save your one year of learning .

See, anyway BA-BEd course will be more valuable than simple BA program and I'll tell you the reason why because after this integrated program you can appear for CTET and qualifying this exam you can get teaching job in top government as well as private schools,also you can appear for state level TETs. Now,the question of being burdened or not is something you've to understand in terms of what's your vision for your life ahead, because doing a BA program doesn't offer much job opportunities except in government sector such as UPSC,SSC,banking or insurance but you also have to keep in mind the increasing competition day by day and intakes are limiting. The scope for getting good jobs apart from aforementioned ones increase in case of BA if you do other programs such as pursuing law,education,management or any other program.
Anyway,this think clearly about what you want to do and then take a call.
