I am 12th student and I did not go for any coaching for preparation for jee mains and I want to clear jee main in one month please guide me

Pulkit 18th Feb, 2019

Hello Rohit ,

As you said you're left with just only one month for the final exam. You can choose the following way.

Firstly try to clear all your doubts and basis concept within 4 to 5 days.

After that take all the previous year papers of JEE Mains or previously AIEEE and try to solve each paper on one day at a same time when you have your final exam of JEE this will help you to have a sitting of continuous 3 hours and also it will help you to keep your mind active in that period. After doing that try to clear your doubts you face while solving the paper.

After solving the paper, in the time you're left after solving the paper try to revise the formulas and study all the subjects.

Hope this will help you to score high. Feel free to ask any query.

Yes ofcourse you can take a drop.
But you should be determined and well focused.
You have to devote your full attention toward study and not only for some days but regular till the exam over .
And it takes lot of efforts to do this.
So if you are sure and dedicated than only you should take a drop .And it will definitely lead you to success and you will get your desired college and branch.
Seeing your present score ; you need a lots of improvement and proper guidance and a good teacher.
Talk to your teacher and parents regularly and discuss about the improvement and weak points in you.
Make proper schedule and follow good books and study material.

Can I get the information for the clarification crash course 2019 dates and timings ? Pls

Erica 17th Feb, 2019

Hello Jidnyasa,

Crash courses for CLAT are very helpful when you have a short time to complete your preparation. Each institute has a fixed timeline where they help a student to understand all the syllabus and also to learn the important concepts of law, English, reasoning, current affairs and quantitative aptitude. For that, you need to search for a very good CLAT Coaching Institute, with excellent ratings  and impressive past records which will help in enhancing your performance. Some institutes also provide online crash courses which students can do at the comfort of their homes. They provide CLAT Mock tests, best quality study materials, and teaches strategy and time management which ultimately decides the future of a student. Since you have not mentioned which city you belong to, I have still compiled a list of some of the best institutes in the country which provide crash courses.

These are- CL LST, Clat Possible, Crack Clat Tutorials, Legal Edge, IMS, Sri Ram Law Academy, Paradygm Law, Career Launcher and Opus Institute.

You can check out their official websites and choose the best one in your city. But be careful of their user ratings and testimonials of ex students, then only make your decision. Also, if you have any more queries, feel free to drop it on Careers360 website. Happy to help:)

How prepare for board exam and BITSAT

Kill Shot 18th Feb, 2019

Hello Neeraj Kumar,

I had got a 87% in my science boards and cleared my BITSAT exam in the first atempt too.

First I will give you some pointers regarding how study about the boards-

  • Hardwork is the key and dont keep in mind that this subject is good or this subject isn't as to get a good percentage you wil require to excell in all the subjects. Have you always been strong in certain topics? Do you tell yourself that your success is a result of your inborn intelligence and natural skill? Conversely, have you told yourself you’re just “bad” at something and no matter what you do, it will always be hard for you? Well, this line of thought is hurting your ability to learn and improve your performance. Studies show that people who think that ability is innate tend not to work hard or persevere. In fact, a growth mindset (the belief that intelligence is not fixed and can be developed) is a comparably strong predictor of achievement.
  • Believing that multitasking is easy, especially during class or studying. Focusing on two or more tasks at a time is a fact of life, but believing that you can do more than one thing at a time effectively is a myth. You may convince yourself you have both read up on the contraindications for a new medication and listened to your mom berate you for not calling often enough at the same time, but neuroscience studies show that your brain was in fact switching back and forth between these two tasks, and you are likely to have missed important information in the meantime. Nancy K. Napier, PhD, in Psychology Today says, “That start/stop/start process is rough on us: rather than saving time, it costs time (even very small micro seconds), it’s less efficient, we make more mistakes, and over time it can be energy sapping.”
  • Dont waste a lot of time consolling yourself and start working on your goal of acieving them.
  • Use the technology for your boon rather than using it as your bane.

Now for your BITSAT-

You need to keep all the above points in your head and study simultaneously for both the exams. Once you have your basics correct while you study for the boards then BITSAT will be a piece of cake for you.

I would also reccomend you to join separate coaching or tuitions so that they can help you prepare for the types of questions the exam has up for you.

Here are some of the books i would suggest you to read which I read personally-

For physics- HC Verma, DC Pandey

For Chemistry- I used to do my NCERT thrughly

For Mathematics- I used to practice the questions given to my in the coaching and then the NCERT to clear my basics.

Once youu have your basics clear you would easily clar both the exams with flying colours.

Comment if you have any other queries

All the best!!

Being a student of SC category, atleast how much marks I need to crack JEE Advanced?

Kamal Kant 16th Feb, 2019

If you are from SC category, then for clearing the advance paper you must score more than 5% marks in each subject and more than 17.5% marks in total. If you fail to achieve this much marks then you will not be able to clear your jee advanced paper.

Also, you need to have at least 65% in your 12th boards for being eligible to give the advance paper.

Good luck with your jee advanced preparation.
