I dont want to join coaching.i prepare by self study and helping by Google youtube.for CAT i start LR by arun sharma is it good decision.

Smit Parmar 25th Nov, 2018

It's always better to join a coaching centre they have years of experience in training students and you will definitely profit from the way they get you into a pattern of processes to crack CAT. Plus by joining a coaching centre like TIME or CL or Endeavour you will get their mock series which are basically Chapter wise and Overall test papers which is a simulation of the real CAT exam. You will understand your strengths and weaknesses and work alot better on them if you become a part of it. Plus you'd be able to see how you perform in comparison to other students all over India.

Arun Sharma is a very good start for all sections but for advanced learning you should prefer joining a coaching class.

All the Best for your preparations.

How to prepare for assam cee ?

shreyapandey96 Student Expert 24th Nov, 2018

Dear student.

Greetings.

First of all, divide your preparation into 3 parts based on the subjects. For chemistry, stick to the ncert textbook as it is the most recommendable book. In physics, books like HC Verma can be helpful because physics it contains both theoretical and numerical problems. For maths, you can study from RD Sharma book.

Thank you.

All the best.

How to prepare to crack nift within 1 month ??for both GAT and CAT..and give some important topic for CAT exam ?

Niharika Moturu 26th Nov, 2018

Hello Navas..

Thanks 4 contacting Careers360..

Preparing for NIFT entrance in a month will be that competative. It depends on individual's IQ and Creative skills. If you just recently clered your 12th, it wont be tough, it would be like revising topics with other subjects. Suggest you to get guidance if you are not sure.

The best solution i would suggest you is take up last few years solved question papers and practice them. The criteria here is that you should be able to understand the logic of every section and questions asked.

For example, they would ask to draw the growth of a person from ages of 6 to 60 in 5 stages. You should understand the reason here is that you are able to correlate the drawing skills with the changes in each figure drawn.

Further you should read latest general knowledge books. Get basic knowledge of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics topics like formulas meant for 10th 11th and 12th. English language 10th std CBSE book will help for comprehension.

Try to learn fundamental of design (line, circles, colors etc) and practice

There are less chances of group discussions which is mostly to check your communication skills and way of thinking.

You can crack this exam if you practice at least 4 hours every day for a month for students who recently cleared 12th.

remember NIFT exams are competative and creative skills is important too with quantity ability, CAT & MAT basic. Stick to basics and dont worry what others are studying.

Again i would say, learn the logic of previous year's questions and study the 10th to 12th basic concepts of PCM (technology). Practice CAT & MAT basic questions and english language.

All the best.

Still I did not started preparation for jee.. But there is no time; it is "possible to get seat in nit collage".

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 23rd Nov, 2018
Hello,

Why not...if you put enough time and dedicate in your studies you will definitely get it.But there are few things that will be considered to.Like how much your base is strong. If you are at beginners level then lets be honest definitely you cant make it happen in this much less time.
Just explore yourself think what you can do and what you cant and then decide.Study hard and give a try.If it wont happen this year.Get back stronger next year and conquer.
