Is ncert chemistry and mtg fingertips enough for neet 2020 to get 130+.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019

Hello there!

Greetings!

Ncert fingertips is a good book , it is great to master ncert and neet mainly focuses on ncert . If I go through the analysis chemistry section of neet 2019 then Chemistry was the moderate section amongst the three. This section was not lengthy. There were 20 questions asked from the 12th standard syllabus and 25 questions from the 11th standard syllabus. This section had 1 difficult question, 20 moderate questions and 24 easy questions. Most questions were based directly on simple ncert concepts. So , you should focus on ncert alot , to score good marks of 130+ I will suggest you to go through neet aipmt past 30 year papers book by arihant along with ncert and ncert fingertips and yes you go through a good test series.

Thankyou

I am doing b.sc from physics, and I want to give GATE exam, is I am eligible for giving exam, and what to do for its preparation.

Shubham Kumar Gupta 30th Aug, 2019
Hello Pranjal, Greetings!
No, you are not eligible since a B.Sc. graduate is not eligible for the GATE examination because this examination requires an eligibility criterion of minimum B.Tech or Engineering to appear for examination.
You can however, appear for GATE examination when you are in final year of MSc or after completing your MSc  only.
Thank you.

How should I study to get minimum 470 marks in neet 2020 days are getting closer am scared

Diksha gupta 30th Aug, 2019

Hi,

First of all no need of getting scared, you should keep on working hard each ans every day, because this hardwork only will pay you during neet exam. You should solve as many previous year question paper as possible. Treat ncert as your bible. For physics and chemistry go for books like abc and hc Verma.

Next, you should always aims for high score, aim above 600 , aim high then only you will land to good score. Every year ,competition is increasing ,so you need to score as high as possible to grab a seat of your choice.

You can register for ctse exam conducted by careers360 and can avail upto 100% scholarship and other rewards.

All the best.

My marks is 49.66% in bachelor degree and i belong to obc but i also completed my post graduate this year with 60% may i eligible to cat ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Amit, the eligibility criteria says tjat a Candidate should have completed his Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and its 45% for Reserved Categories. Now OBC has a certain reservation and so it falls under Reserved Categories. So you are eligible to appear for CAT based on your Bachelor's degree. CAT is for admission to PG courses and the basic eligibility remains Bachelor's degree. Which means anything additional is additional and can help you in the Academic profile while being shortlisted for WAT and PI.

Apoorva Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019

Hello dear student ,

Students from other state can apply in the state counseling of the other state but that is under 15% all India quota and not in the 85% of the state quota but this is applicable if the student have a domicile of some other state . In the 85% state quota a student can apply only in the state of their domicile. I hope this is useful and helpful for you.

Best wishes

Will i get mbbs seat with 500 marks in neet 2019 under punjab state counselling as it has 1% quota for punjab police wards...plzzzz reply

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Aryaman, Punjab has aproximately 900 MBBS seats including Government and Private Medical Colleges. With 1% reservation, you have only 9 seats among 900 seats for wards of Police personnel. Which means the cut offs will be higher. Punjab has usually higher cut offs. But with 500, you might get a seat in a Private Medical College. BabaFaridabad University has released allotment list at http://bfuhs.ac.in/. You can check for the cut offs for various colleges at this page.
