how much marks should i score in neet 2020 which secure my seat in gov. medical collage in MP?? i am from ST category!!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Krishna, in 2018 under State Quota, a score of 279 secured a seat in GMC, Vidhisha under ST Category. Now this is 2018 data. In 2019, the general cut offs have been increased by 15 marks and in certain colleges, the cut offs wenr as higher as by 70 marks. And cut offs change every year depending on various factors like no.of candidates appearing for the exam, no.of candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Considering all these facts, you should atleast aim for 450-500 if you do not want to pressurise yourself amd wait until mop up round.

Im focused on USMLE but wish to give neet pg 2020 as well.Any suggestions how I should proceed with neet to prep in short time?

Mahaveer Student Expert 12th Sep, 2019

Dear student,

NEET 2020 can be intense or simpler than 2019 and earlier years. As a NEET competitor, it's bad to stress over these things during the arrangement.

Material science, Chemistry, and Biology. 3. Observe Standard Study Material – Since applicants are getting ready for NEET without instructing, it is significant that competitors allude to think about material of value. The best book for NEET 2020 readiness, in the assessment of specialists and toppers, is the NCERT.

My state rank is 2093 and state category rank in jharkhand is 88 in neet. Can I get a mbbs seat? I have a domicile of the state.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Sweety, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, the newly approved Medical Colleges have a total intake of 300 which is distributed among all Categories. That will look approximately as follows:

ST: 78
SC: 30
BC-I: 24
BC-II: 18
General Category: 150

Now you might have a chance if you belong to General Category but surprisingly not if you belong to Reserved Categories because the no.of seats are lesser than your rank.
