Is it necessary for jee students to give all 5 subject exam in cbse improvement examination

NILUTPOL Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Hello,
As per the JEE Mains rules for improvement 2019, we have discussed the points of concern below:

If a candidate passes Class 12 but writes one or a few subjects for improvement or any other reason, then top 20 percentile cut-off will be considered.

However, if a candidate writes all the subjects then the best of the two performances will be considered.

So if you appear for improvement exam in all subjects the you get an extra benefit of getting selected from either top 20 percentile or 75%+ percentage.
Hope it helps

I had pass class 12 in 2017.Am i eligible for January attempt of jeemains for B.arch and CEED.

NILUTPOL Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Hello,
For Jee Mains a student gets three consecutive years for attempts. Every year a student gets two attempts to appear for the exams in January and April out of which the best one is counted in a year. As you have mentioned that you have completed your 12 in 2017 and that was the first year for your attempt in JEE mains. Then your next two consecutive attempts were in 2018 and 2019. So even if you didn't appear for the Jee mains attempts in the years 2017, 2018 or 2019, you are not eligible to appear for Jee mains 2020. Your jee mains attempts are exhausted. Please go for so e other private engineering colleges in India like Sharda, Amity etc
Here's  a list of some good private engineering colleges in India

I scored 572 in neet 2019 i did not get any college should I go for 4th attempt general category, haryana state

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Dear Sahil, that was quite a less margin that you have missed by. Haryana has few seats and hence the higher cut offs. While 572 is not a small score, it is painful to lose out on a seat with a margin of 4 marks. And to think that the cost of 4 marks is 1 Academic year is a deep pain. Now whether you should prepare for a straight 4th year or move on is your decision but I will attempt to lay the cons and pros. The obly con is you will be wasting an academic year. But if you are determined to study MBBS and you think you have the will power and determination to do it, then you should go for it. Never should you live with a regret that you should have tried one more time. Regret is a pain that no medicine can heal. If you have asked this question, somewhere deep within, you too want to give it a try and you should certainly give it another chance. But that will need focus and not diverting towards things that are unnecessary. It is true you will feel angry and you might end up hating the world or be aggressive but 'focussing on the right things only will help you'.
If you want to guage your levels of preparation, this might actually help you:

Im preparing at home for neet this yr I already had gap certificate of my first long term should I now take gap of this year or combine 2yr

Sriya Bose Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019

Hello Aspirant!

The duration of gap is completely dependent on you. If you think you will be able to complete the syllabus within a year then you should take one year gap. But if you think completion of the syllabus is going to take more time, then definitely go for a 2 year gap. But keep in mind, taking a drop can be quite an isolating experience as you get less chances to meet with your friends. It acn be frustrating too. So do not forget to take the required breaks for refreshment and relaxation.

For studying Biotechnology, will the Aspirant go for NEET or other Exam. What are the top institutes for Biotechnology

Shreya Singh Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019

Hello,

If you want to make a Career in the field of biotechnology , then as such there are no specific exams. You can go for BSc in biotechnology in any university and admission criterias will be particular to that university/college. Some provide admission directly on basis of your 12th percentage, other conducts their own exams like IISC Bangalore. That is the best college in India for basic sciences and it provides admission through KVPY channel  or aptitude test as an entrance exams. You can check the particulars on the official website. If you have any other query feel free to ask me in the comment section.

My best wishes for your future and upcoming exams.
