NEET 2020 will conduct online or offline in 2020

Sriya Bose Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019
Hello Aspirant!

So far NEET UG has been conducted in offline mode only. Last year, a proposal was made to hold it online, but due to lack of resources, it wasn't implemented. So far, no official notification has been released by the NTA regarding any change in mode of examination. So, till now it is expected that NEET UG 2020 will be conducted in the usual offline mode only.

What is the chance of getting mbbs in private college of 8.5 lakhs fees in up neet mop up for 370 Marks , kerala candidate.

iammohdshareef 18th Aug, 2019
Hello,
.
There are little chances of getting a seat in mop up round.
.
Here what happens in mop up round is,they will be Firstly selecting all the scholars who haven't got seat.
And if still Seats are available then you will be surely selected.
.
It even depends on how many colleges you are applying. If it is just 2 to 3 there are less chances.I would suggest you to go for maximum Colleges for better chances of getting a seat.
.
Hope your seat will be  successfully allotted.
Best of luck

Shreya Singh Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019

Hello,

Since EWS is being implemented for the first time in this year counselling, so it will be difficult to predict which colleges you will get based on EWS category. However I am sharing with you last year General category ranks vs mark data which will give you some visibility :-

Name of College

Open Seats

UR

NEET Rank

NEET Marks

North Delhi Municipal Corporation
Medical College, New Delhi

5428

562

Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical
College and Hospital, New Delhi

4641

568

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College
and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi

Since the above marks are in general category , so there might be chances that the EWS closing rank and marks will be slightly lesser than this, but I ask you to wait until counselling starts and not consider this as the final result.

my dauter got 340 marks in neet 2019 . will she get mbbs seat.?

Sriya Bose Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019
Hello!

I am afraid the NEET UG scores obtained by the candidate are too low to get a MBBS seat in a government college, even under reserved category and state quota because this year the admission cut-offs have gone very high. However, the candidate can try out for private medical colleges as thay have comparatively lower admission cut-offs.
