what can i do? I fill completely iit jam 2021 form along with payment but they say"" If you are seeing this screen, it implies that your payment has not yet been received by JAM 2021. In case you have made online payment earlier, it is not accounted for and will be refunded by the concerned bank. "

Shruti Smaranika 30th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

There's nothing to be worried about. If your online payment had got failed due to power or internet disruption, then when you get back online again, immediately check the payment status on the official website of JAM. If it shows that it is paid, a confirmation message will show you and you can proceed for further steps.  If it's not received by JAM, then you've to start again with the payment steps so as to complete the process. If in case, if the money is debited in the first attempt from the account, then it will be refunded back to your account. For payment, you will be charged only once. See, this happens often due to network failure and don't need to be worried, extra money if you had paid to JAM, it will be returned to your account.

Hope, it helps you.

various bank jobs after bsc maths which are easy as well as job oriented??

Raychel 15th Oct, 2020

Dear student,

How are you doing, about your question, there are many jobs for students in banking sector after completion of BSC in mathematics.

I would like to say 1 thing no jobs in banks are so easy going and as a Fresher you need to put alot of efforts for the starting 1 year atleast.

Here is the thing, various banks conduct written test in various centres in India. You will have to appear for this written test to qualify for the interview. Banks shall release notification on their websites, you have to apply online. After short listing you will be called for the written test. If you clear the test then you will be called for an interview.

This is 1 of the ways in which you can get a post, another way is through appearing for the IBPS or SBI PO exam that is conducted every year.

The selected candidate  who pass these exams get a post of Probationary officer in the scale of Junior Management Scale - 1.

There is a Probationary period till the time you work upon completion of this period with  satisfactory performance you will be posted as an Assistant manager of a branch.

During your first 1–2 years you have to do Multi-tasking, as a PO ie. by working in various departments. departments like:

  • deposit
  • loans
  • Pensions
  • payments & check clearances.
  • Cash handling
  • Loan Processing
  • ATM Related Queries
  • Account Related
  • Customer Service

Most of there ate job oriented. During the first few months you might have abit trouble getting used to it. After some time it will be ok.

Hope this helps all the best.

is it necessary to have students own bank account for josaa councelling documents verification ? or is it ok with parents bank account.

Maitrayee Biswas 15th Oct, 2020

It is not necessary for the student to own bank account for JOSAA counselling. The bank account of the parents will also do. The bank account details are required in case of refunds. So, there is no as such hard and fast rule to own an account for the student.

How to prepare for bank exams and which bank exam has high salary..?? what is the paper pattern??

Saptarshi Dutta 12th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Until last year, bank exams were held mainly like, exam for TO recruitment (Trainee Officer) and exam for PO recruitment (Provisionary Office).   For PO recruitment, if someone is already a TO  in the organization, he had to compete between all the TO of that organization to be a PO. But, if someone directly had to become a PO, without being a TO, he had to compete under all India quota for the  same.

The most prestigious bank exams are listed as under:

  • IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS RRB, IBPS SO (NABARD)
  • SBI PO and SBI Clerk
  • South Indian Bank
  • RBI Grade B
  • Bank of Baroda
  • IPPB Recruitment
  • IDBI PO

Following are the areas to work hard on:

  • English Language

  • Reasoning Ability

  • Quantitative Ability

Thank you.

Hope this helped.
