Biology
Hello Bhavya !!
For cracking medical exams like NEET , AIIMS,JIPMER you should be well thorough with the NCERT books for all the three subjects.
The AIIMS question paper is usually difficult than the rest but can be solved with proper practice and a little bit of extra knowledge on all the three subjects a apart from what is in NCERT.
For Biology 'Trueman' is a very good choice but keep in mind that there is lot of extra topics covered in the book which will not be any use in this stage . Therefore , be selective in studying the topics .
For both Physics and Chemistry 'NCERT at Fingertips ' is really a good book with lots of questions including diagram questions and HOTS.
Therfore , this set of books will be enough for preparing for AIIMS.
The coaching material depends upon the coaching you are going to . Most of the coaching centres provide pretty good study material.
All the best.
Hope this helps .
Hi, to get 300+ in NEET in 1 year preparation is an easy task if you focus on your NCERT especially for biology and inorganic and organic chemistry. That being said you shouldn't completely ignore physics and physical chemistry from ncert. Clear up your bases, make your bases strong as a all the complex formulas and theories arise from simple bases, so if you have strong bases you can even derive the formula yourself. There is not much time to spend on each question in NEET so you'll need to learn time management. Even if your preparation is great but time management isn't then it would affect your final result greatly. Using different modules and sample test papers is a good idea and make sure you solve lots of question papers and previous year papers all in the time that is given for the actual exam and at the same time the exam is going to be conducted as it will train your brain for the exam day. Do take rest and day offs in between. Do not stress or panic. Take it slowly day by day and you'll get it. All the best.
Hi, of you're giving kvpy in 11th that means you'll be giving kvpy for the first time, i.e. the first stage so you'll have to answer all PCMB questions, that being said even if you do not answer even one biology question in it and prepare really well for PCM part you can easily get selected for the next round. And then when you give kvpy in 12th that is second year you can choose from PCM or PCB. But biology is pretty high scoring, you can easily get those 20-25 marks with just going through the subject once and it'll get you a good rank too. The rest is up to you if you don't want to give biology then make sure your PCM is really strong. Thank you and all the best.
Hi, first of all congratulations for a great result in class 12th. Assuming you're from general category, you can get in DU South campus College for bsc zoology in either 4th or 5th list and if you get a better College in the subsequent lists you can also choose those later on. All the best.

Hello Bhavya,
Biology NCERT is a key to get success in medical exams. But in AIIMS exam you have to study more than NCERT to crack that exam.
So you should have additional knowledge along with NCERT.
Good luck
