I gave 12 exam in 2019.I got both 55 in chemistry and biology but 44 in physics.I want to apply for improvement exam.can I apply for neet?

Pinki kumari Student Expert 27th Jun, 2019

Hi,

You have 55 marks in bio and chem.  And 44 in physics. The total is 154 out of 300.you have 51.3%

According to neet eligibility a student should have 50% marks  aggregate in physics chemistry biology and english and should have passed each subject individually . Calculate you marks with english subject too.

you are going to give exams next year then would be better to give improvement exams.

For any other query you can ask us.

Sir,12board mein biology = 82,chemistry=80 paya hu lekin physics mein theory 70me se 15 aur practical mein 24 kiya neet de sakta hu sir.

Shruti Patwal 27th Jun, 2019

Dear Candidate,

According to your marks your are getting 67% in PCB group. The eligibility criteria for applying for NEET is you need to have minimum 50% in PBC for general students and 45% in PBC for reserved category. So, its completely fine and yes you can give NEET.

Sir mene apni college ki 12th board mein biology mein 82aur chemistry mein 80 aur physics mein 70me se 15paya hu aur practical mein 24 paya.

Joydeep Saha Student Expert 27th Jun, 2019
Hey Pradunna !
I understand your concern for the exam and accordingly let's try to solve out your query.
The basic guideline for doing so is the fact :

1. You must pass in all subjects.
2. Combined aggregate in PCB is more than 50% if UR or 40% if reserved.

You have clearly passed in Chem and Bio as seen and for Physics, adding your theory and prac marks yield 24+15= 39 marks, which too is above the pass range.
Hence, you are eligible for the 1st point mentioned.

Nextly, your aggregate, 82+80+39= 201 marks which is well above 150/300 benchmarks.
Hence, qualifying for 2nd point as well.

Thus stating, you can appear for NEET without any problems, friend.

Hope this helps.

Best of Luck !

I have not mentioned my biology marks in WBJEE counselling registration which I have marked as NA. Will there be any problem??

Niraj Student Expert 27th Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant,

To get admission in any college your score in physics , chemistry and mathematics are taken into account in WBJEE. But you need to mention the marks of your 4th subject. If not biology then if there was any subject you need to mention. It's important to mention the subject as it will be verified in the reporting center. So it's not necessary to select biology. Whatever was your 4th subject you should select and give the marks.

Thank you.

Hello sir I am pursuing bsc life sciences from delhi university.my subject in class 12th was physics, chemistry and biology..

Vidhi 26th Jun, 2019
Hey!

You can apply for GATE (life sciences) only after your masters. Those who pursue B.Tech. are eligible for GATE and can get admission in M.Tech.
Bachelor's in science students, on the other hand, can pursue M.Tech.  only after masters in science. Your class 12th with PCB is ok for this exam. Mainly your M.Sc. matters.
After your M.Tech., you can pursue your career in R&D companies, in research field, etc. You can also go for PhD in this field to work as an independent scientist later on or teach as an academician. You can also teach in schools after your M.Tech., can apply for government jobs, and can work in industries related to biological research.
Hope it helps!

Grb neet objective biology + ncertis enough for AIIMS biology ?

sudeepta 26th Jun, 2019
For aiims it follows ncert syllabus. So yes the books you mentioned is  enough to study biology for aiims. You should grab more books for practice mcq questions and assertion and reasoning.Practice after getting correspondent to the whole syllabus is important. Mtg,Arihant McMillan etc books can be taken for hard-core practice of each and every question of every chapter. This would enhance performance.
