Kushan, there are 5 Veterinary Colleges in Karnataka that participate in KCET Counselling. In 2019, a rank of 3748 secured a seat in Veterinary College under OBC Category. The cut off for SC Category was 3292 and 699 was for General Merit. Now this is 2019 cut off data and cut offs change every year. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. But with a rank of 13025, a seat in Veterinary Science is difficult. If you want to study Veterinary course, you may have to try for All India Counselling through NEET score.
Rank in eamcet depends on many factors, as your ipe score is good so work hard to score more than 90 marks in eamcet .So that you can get your desired rank. Work hard for it, all the best!!
Since the board 75 % criteria is removed for IITs admissions, it is much highly likely that this criteria will also be removed for NITs admissions. Because the reason that was mentioned to be was the scrapping of some board exams, so the same reason may be given while cancelling this criteria for NITs admissions. So, if it gets cancelled, you can get admission into NIT on the basis of your JEE score only and without taking into consideration your board marks.
Otherwise, the criteria is to score an aggregate of at least 75 % if you are a candidate of General category and 65% if you are a candidate of SC/ST category.
Hope it helps.
Thanu, to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th or equivalent, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This is ideally 10+2 format or equivalent. But if you can study these subjects from NIOS or as a Private Candidate you are eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. But we would suggest you to reach out to the helpdesk at: neet@nta.ac.in for clarification.
Hello aspirant
As you got 98 percentile in JEE Mains. Also, you have an obc quota so according to the previous cutoffs there are good chances for you to get CS branch in NIT Calicut. As, you have home state quota also, then you can get admission in 2th or 3rd round of counselling. According to previous cutoff your CRL and OBC ranks are good to get you in the CS branch at NIT Calicut. You can use Careers360 college predictor tool to get expected colleges on the basis of your percentile.

Srashti, you could have changed your Academic details during the correction window. NTA has extended the correction window until 20th July until 5pm IST. But now that it is past 10pm IST, you cannot make any changes to your NEET application form. But if you meet NEET eligiblity criteria regarding the aggregate based on your Category, you can retain the current marks skeet. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If you meet this criteria, you can keep the marks details that you have right now but unfortunately the correction window has been closed and so you cannot make any changes at this point in time.
Since all the private colleges would accept your admission at a later stage too. So I would suggest you to wait for jee. Once you are done with your jee, there is a good chance that you can get admission into a government college if you are able to ace in your jee mains exam (and I think you can). And if unfortunately you don't, then you can get admitted in one of the private college.
Good luck with jee and feel free to ask if you have any query
Thanks.
hey,
basically to be eligible for NEET examination one must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in their PCB subjects altogether belonging to general category and you have mentioned that you are nor eligible for NEET examination that means your PCB aggregate is lesser than needed , so i advise you to appear for PCB subjects in order to get eligible for same
all the best!
