Can I study pharm. D at distance learning and come and give exams for each semester?

Akansha Sharma 17th Apr, 2025

Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) is a professional degree that typically requires practical training and regular attendance at a college for hands-on experience. Most universities offer Pharm.D. programs through full-time, on-campus courses due to the nature of the curriculum. Distance learning options are limited for Pharm.D., and exams may require physical attendance at the exam center. It's best to check with specific institutions or universities to confirm if they offer distance learning for Pharm.D. and their exam requirements.

Does cbse private candidate required old-school tc for admission on government colleges like nit and dtu

kumardurgesh1802 13th Apr, 2025

Hello there,

For CBSE private candidates seeking admission to government colleges like NITs or DTU , the requirement for an old school Transfer Certificate (TC) typically does not apply. Here's a breakdown:

  1. Transfer Certificate (TC) : A TC is usually required for students who have completed their schooling from one institution and are transferring to another. For private candidates , since they are not coming from a regular school but are appearing for the exam as an individual, the old school TC is usually not required.

  2. Admission Requirements :

    • NITs and DTU primarily require you to meet the eligibility criteria, which include qualifying exams like JEE Main .

    • They may ask for your Class 12 mark sheet , JEE scorecard , and other identity proofs , but old school TC is generally not needed.

  3. Special Case : If you were previously enrolled in a school but decided to give the exam privately, the institution may ask for the TC from your previous school as part of the verification process. However, this is not always the case and depends on the specific college's requirements.

    Conclusion:

For private candidates, old-school TC is generally not required unless explicitly mentioned by the college during the admission process. Make sure to check the specific admission guidelines for NITs or DTU to confirm.

Sir meri beti ne 10th ki exam rajasthan se di hai me aage ki study DTU se karbana chahata hu mujhe kya karna hoga

Prachi Kumari 6th Apr, 2025

Hello,

DTU (Delhi Technological University) is a top engineering college, mainly for B.Tech courses. If your daughter wants to study there, she will need to follow these steps:

  1. First, she must complete her 12th class with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) .

  2. Then, she needs to appear for the JEE Main exam , which is a national-level entrance test.

  3. She must get a good rank in JEE Main to get admission in DTU.

  4. After the exam, she has to apply through JoSAA counselling to get a seat in DTU.

DTU gives admission mainly through JEE Main score and JoSAA counselling. So, focus should be on preparing well for JEE Main after 12th.

Hope it helps !

can i get mathematics and computing in dtu with 93.6680718 percentile in jee mains jan session of i have obc ncl and home state delhi quota?

Rohan 3rd Apr, 2025

With a 93.67 percentile in JEE Mains (January session), your estimated CRL rank is around 63,319. Since you belong to the OBC-NCL category and have Delhi home state quota, you have a good chance of getting Mathematics and Computing at DTU.

Last year, the OBC-NCL (Delhi) closing rank for this program was:

  • Round 1: 70,301

  • Round 5: 85,687

Since your rank is better than these cutoffs, you have a solid chance!

However, cutoffs change every year, so keep an eye on the official JAC Delhi counseling process and apply in multiple rounds to maximize your chances. Good luck!

DTU cse versus NIT TRICHY ECE detailed review

Aditya .V. 28th Mar, 2025

Okay, so you're trying to figure out whether to go for Computer Science at Delhi Technological University (DTU) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at NIT Trichy, right? It's a tough call! You've got to weigh a bunch of stuff, like what the classes are like, what kind of jobs you could get, what the campus is like, and, most importantly, what you really want to do. Let's break it down:

What's the Learning Like?

DTU CSE: DTU—used to be Delhi College of Engineering—is known for having a really solid Computer Science program. They'll teach you all the basics of computer science, plus programming and all the cool new tech stuff. The teachers are usually pretty experienced, and you can get involved in research on things like AI, machine learning, and data science.

NIT Trichy ECE: NIT Trichy is always one of the top NITs in India. The ECE program covers everything from digital electronics to communication systems and signal processing. They focus on both the theory and how to actually use it, and they encourage students to work on projects and research.

What About Jobs?

DTU CSE: DTU's CSE program usually has really good placement rates. Graduates often land jobs at big tech companies and startups as software developers, data analysts, and system engineers. Being in Delhi and having a good alumni network helps a lot with getting internships and making connections.

NIT Trichy ECE: NIT Trichy's ECE grads usually get placed in core electronics companies as well as IT companies. The school has a placement cell that organizes recruitment events, and students have gotten jobs in design engineering, telecommunications, and embedded systems. Plus, the NIT Trichy name helps a lot when you're looking for a job.

What's Campus Life Like?

DTU: Since it's in Delhi, DTU has a pretty lively campus. There are always tech and cultural festivals going on. You can join clubs, hackathons, and entrepreneurship groups, which is great for growing as a person.

NIT Trichy: NIT Trichy, down in Tamil Nadu, also has a good campus life. There are tons of student organizations, tech events, and cultural festivals. Because it's a residential campus, everyone's pretty close, which makes it easier to learn and work together.

Things to Think About:

What Kind of Job Do You Want? Think about what you want to do after you graduate. CSE grads often work at software companies, tech startups, and IT services companies. ECE grads can work in telecommunications, the semiconductor industry, and embedded systems.

Where Do You Want to Be? Being in Delhi, DTU is close to a lot of tech companies, startups, and events, which could mean more opportunities for internships and networking. NIT Trichy might be in a smaller city, but it's well-known and respected all over the country, which can help you get a job.
