In most of the top tier 1 MBA college , the requirement of marks of graduation in any of the institute is candidates must secure 50% score in graduation from a recognized education board. so it makes you not eligible for many of the colleges. A pass in UG Degree with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade. in college studies hardly do the faculty stick to one book or reference material. thus it is always advisable to not follow a single book. you can check the syllabus and course plan of your course and accordingly, you can issue those textbooks from the college library and refer to them.
For pursuing law, there are two options – 3 year course and integrated 5 year course.
To enroll in the integrated 5 year course (B.A. LL.B. or B.B.A.LL.B.), a student need to clear entrance exams like CLAT, AILET etc.
For three years program can be done through bachelor.
The entrance exams held for the 3 year program is usually offered by Delhi University, Benaras Hindu University etc.

UPSC is a 3 stage selection process involving Prelims, Mains and Interview which tests your personality test. Prelims has 2 Papers namely General Studies and CSAT.
General Studies has Current Events, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Social Development, Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change and General Science.
CSAT has Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, Logical Reasoning and Analytical ability, Decision making and problem solving, General Mental Ability, Basic numeracy and Data Interpretation.
You will need atleast to start preparing ahead of 1- 2 years. If you are preparing at home, you need to keep yourself away from distractions and focus on the goal ahead. Gather as much as information as you can on each topic and keep yourself updated. Practise mock test papers.
