Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram
Hello,
The admission process for IIST is on the basis of JEE advanced, GATE, JEST or UGC-NET. IIST does not organize any entrance exams of their own. After the shortlisting of candidates on the basis of rank then the counselling process is done offline and as per the rank. The interview is to be cleaned by the students to grab the admission in IIST.
First of all you may not fulfill the education qualification criteria. To appear in JEE advanced 2020 a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent in 2018, 2019 or 2020 are eligible.
Suppose that you wish to appear in 2021 you must have completed your class 12 in 2019, 2020 or 2021 but you have passed class 12 earlier than 2019 so you will not be eligible to appear in JEE adavanced which makes you ineligible to get admission in IIST or IISER.

You can get into IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) for their Undergraduate programmes. The admission is based on JEE Advanced scores. Which means you need to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2. You can pick any of their 4 year Bachelor programmes like B.Tech in Physical Sciences, B.Tech in Avionics and B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, etc. Or you can also pick up their 5 year Integrated courses in Master of Science in Astronomy and AstroPhysics, Master of Technology in Earth System Science, Master of Science in Solid State Physics and Master of Science in Optical Engineering, etc. Opportunities are amazing for academically brilliant candidates. With a CGPA of 7.5 or higher, subject to the availability of vacancies, you get placed in ISRO. Aero and Avio graduates have better prospects even outside ISRO.
