If my BOARD marks in PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY are good but my MATHS marks is not up to the point. But my AGGREGATE percentage is above 75% will it somehow affect in my seat in IIST after i have qualified jee advanced. Please help me with this query.
According to the eligibility criteria of IIST, the minimum aggregate for all the 5 subjects in 12th standard is to be 75%. For SC/ST/PwD the minimum aggregate should be 65%.
The aggregate percentage is what taken into account, not the individual subject.
Hope it solves your query.
Even if your marks in Maths exam is low but if your aggregate is 75 % or more than you don't need to worry at all dear .
This is because as per eligibility criteria of IIST , a general category student needs at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12 board examination, while it is only 65 % required for sc , st , PwD students. Subjects you need to consider for calculating percentage are :-
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- A language
- Any subject
