Hi,
Well there isn't any fee that you need to pay to get in Indian Navy or for that matter any of the Indian military services. They have their own written examination and then followed by interview and physical screening to choose students for different and variety of posts in all three, navy, airforce and army. You can visit their respective websites to get more information.
I hope this helps.
If your class 10th result is given in terms of CGPA you need to convert it in to percentage. The board from which you have passed class 10th will have the formula to convert CGPA in to percentage. You need to obtain CGPA to percentage conversion certificate from your school and upload it in the Indian Navy candidate portal. If there is no formula specified by the board you need to multiply the CGPA obtained with 10 to get the percentage.
To upload the Class10th CGPA to percentage conversion certificate you need to logon to https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/
Go to the candidate login page, enter your login credentials. Go to the current opportunities section. Select the post you are applying fill the application form and in the education qualification field you need to upload the Class10th CGPA to percentage conversion certificate in PDF format as per specifications and submit the application.
hello nikhil
I hope you are doing good. I would glad to aware you about the eligibilty of join merchant engineering
For getting into merchant navy , candidate should have passed their bachelors either in mechanical engineering or naval architecture stream. In my opinion , getting into merchant navy after bsc is not a good option at all , because todays scenario are very changed , scope of bsc in merchant navy is waste of time unless and untill you have lot of money and for freshers their is no way that they will get a even a ship
If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :)
we are always available to help you out and guide you
Thankyou
Hello imptrashgo
Sub Lieutenants, as the name implies, are subordinate or assistants to Lieutenants, and are expected to carry out all the duties of a Lieutenant. Naval officers start their commissioned service as Acting Sub Lieutenant, a rank in which they receive a commission from the President of which they are recognised as Class I gazetted officers. At this stage, Executive Sub Lieutenants undergo technical courses to get a grounding in the various subjects and disciplines which they are expected to be familiar with. On completion of these courses, they are sent to sea for award of their Watch-keeping Certificate, which certifies their ability to keep an independent watch at sea or in harbour
