There are two types of Position in Indian Navy. One is Sailor and the other one is Officer. There are few entrance examinations through which you can get a job in the Indian Navy. Such as, NDA

You can give examination of CDS to get a position in Indian Navy, the eligibility age for indian Navy is 19-24, while for Airforce academy it's 19-23.
You can also get job in officers training academy at the age of 19-25.
