As per the new format of degree courses that will come into effect from academic year 2021-22, students have to learn Kannada in four semesters plus an additional language with their majors and electives.For students from outside Karnataka/ outside India, and for those students from within Karnataka who have not studied Kannada at School level, only "Functional Kannada" has been made mandatory for only one semester."

No , You will not rejected during KCET document verification . But you will not be eligible for Kannada Medium quota. Because to get eligibility in Kannada medium quota you have to study 1 to 10th in Kannada medium schools. So they will make you ineligible for this quota.

To be honest a rank that is above 1,00,000 in KCET exam can be treated as a low score . With this low rank you may not get the branch you want but there are some colleges which accepts the rank above 1lakh so you can try for that colleges.
