Because there are more nat question and difficulty level is high as compare last year.so that from my point of view approx.cut off is about 32 or 33.

Is IITH is good for research in MTech (Mettalurgical Engg) i.e. PHD ? What are chances for placements for M Tech Metlurgy students ?

Since IITH is new and the branch you are talking about is metallurgy there are no 100 percent chances of placements. But since it is an iit you may apply for any off campus but make sure for the in campus first. Hope it helps. Any queries are welcomed in

You can do MS from US, but it depends on the many factors i.e, city, university, universities exchange programs, internships, conferences on particular department. All and all go for States, more scope literally.
