Im planning to do bsc nautical science and I want to know how to get a sponsorship as wherever I look I find people telling to take dns and apply

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 11th Nov, 2020

Hello Febin!

First of all shortlist the companies for which you fulfill the eligibility criteria(as they differ company to company) and then apply for the same by filling the forms. You have to read all the clauses of the respective companies mindfully before applying for sponsorship. They will probably ask you to take a test and then they will guide you further on your college training as well. Companies like SHELL and AET give scholarships. But I would suggest you to try for Anglo Eastern and other top companies where job security is ensured. Consider taking up a loan over joining through an agent. AMET university provides sponsorship for BSc others provide for DNS candidates. There are a few companies like Phoenix that provide sponsorship to BSc students, so be updated regarding that.

Hope this answer helps:)

I would like to join B.sc (nautical science). I have some farsightedness problem. To join this course I need to have a perfect vision. I found this in the internet.Do I need to have this perfect vision at the time of admission itself or would I allowed to change my vision problem during my studies.

prince2019ad 2nd Nov, 2020

Hope you are doing good.

Nautical science requires a perfect vision.

Yes. You are right.

During the admission procedure, at the time of health checkup, you should be having perfect vision else you would be rejected.

The above guideline is compulsory.

If you are declared as having perfect vision during the admission procedure health check-up but during the course they find out that you actually dont dave perfect vision, then there would be no problem for you.

After you have successfully cleared the the admission procedure health checkup there would be no problem for you.

Hoping for your bright future.
